On January 23, 2019, the Department of Education released the Pell grant payment charts for the 2019-2020 award year. On our blog this fall, we discussed how the maximum Pell grant was slated to increase by $100 from the 2018-2019 award year based on the Department of Defense and Labor, Health and Human Services, and Education Appropriations Act, 2019 and Continuing Appropriations Act, 2019
